How an Entry Level Sales Manager functions Participate in a structured training program designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and skills required for effective sales management, including leadership principles, operational procedures, and sales strategies. Gain a comprehensive understanding of various store operations by working in different locations, observing and participating in diverse aspects of the business. Ensure accurate payroll processing by meticulously checking and approving employee timecards, verifying hours worked and adherence to company policies. Support the management team in maintaining precise inventory control for high-value, trackable items by assisting with daily counts and reconciliation. Collaborate with management and staff to conduct thorough weekly inventory checks of all retail accessories, ensuring accurate stock levels and identifying discrepancies. Play a key role in the comprehensive monthly inventory process for the entire store, working with the team to complete counts and reconciliation by the designated deadline. Develop the ability to implement and monitor sales and promotional strategies, understanding how to motivate your team and optimize efforts to achieve sales targets and improve overall productivity. Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming store environment by assisting with the implementation and oversight of cleanliness protocols, ensuring compliance with CDC guidelines. Actively participate in regular meetings with fellow Entry Level Sales Managers, contributing to discussions, staying informed about company updates, and fostering team cohesion. Continuously educate yourself on the latest product offerings, service plans, and promotional campaigns to effectively communicate information to customers and guide your sales team.
