Job Description:
A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Provides primary referral and inquiry customer service for the
Agency's services
Manages incoming calls to the Intake department and coordinates
referrals appropriately
Initiates required referral documentation in the EMR and records
insurance/authorization information
Required Qualifications
High School diploma required
Additional training as a medical secretary or licensed practical
nurse preferred
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
Four years of experience in a health care environment preferred or
equivalent education and experience
