Job Description Job Description Seeking a full-time Manufacturing Planning Coordinator for our client near the Sylmar area. See details below and apply for this amazing opportunity Location: Near Sylmar, CA Schedule : Monday-Friday Hours : 8 am-5 pm but flex Pay: $75k annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vison, Wellness, PTO, and more Role Summary: Oversee the planning and coordination of manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced and delivered on time based on customer needs, demand projections, and material readiness. This position plays a key role in aligning production schedules across multiple processes while working closely with internal teams to meet output and shipping targets. Primary Duties: Create monthly manufacturing plans that align with customer requirements, forecasted demand, and inventory status. Build and maintain weekly production schedules covering multiple operations such as weighing, blending, encapsulation, and packaging. Collaborate daily with Operations and Supply Chain teams to review priorities, make schedule adjustments, and confirm execution timelines. Partner with Quality Assurance to accelerate material approvals and address documentation issues that may disrupt production. Monitor and record schedule revisions using standardized tracking codes and update plans as needed. Proactively assess production risks and delays, working with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions. Ensure efficient flow of work-in-progress materials from kitting through final packaging stages. Lead and facilitate cross-department meetings to resolve issues impacting production performance. Contribute to achieving monthly manufacturing output, revenue goals, and on-time shipment targets. Required Qualifications: At least three years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing setting. Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel) Experience with ERP platforms Working knowledge of FDA regulations.
