Job Description:
A company is looking for an IP Counsel 3.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the creation and management of intellectual property and
prepare a global patent portfolio
Interface with R&D and business development teams to implement
IP strategies aligned with business objectives
Support patent litigation, due diligence for mergers/acquisitions,
and draft IP agreements
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school
8+ years of experience in intellectual property law
Licensed to practice in at least one US state or the District of
Columbia
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or
similar scientific disciplines (preferred)
