transform, filter, and integrate with data from anywhere. We are
well-capitalized and on the road to accomplishing our broader
mission: to empower anyone to create scalable, world-class
software. Why we're hiring:More and more people are turning to
No-Code to build the software they need. Since our launch in 2021,
we have helped over 60,000 users build their backend using Xano. To
date, most of our growth has been organic/word-of-mouth, and we've
been fortunate that our growth has been steady. As we look at our
goals in the next 24 months, we need a proactive Technical Project
Manager who can turn ideas into reality while balancing user needs
with strategic goals.Who we're looking for:A Technical Project
Manager with a GSD attitude. This candidate has experience
shepherding teams to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven
environment and doesn't mind working on product and organizational
projects. They are responsible for keeping the trains running on
time and have the technical understanding required to speak to
engineers at a level they respect, and encompasses the nuances of
what they need to do.What you'll be doing:
- Manage and support product release cycles: We ship every 4
weeks. You'll work alongside our CTO and Engineering Manager to
ensure items in the sprint are getting done.
- Surface issues: Raise potential product or people problems that
might impede a target release to leadership.
- Develop an intimate knowledge of who is building on Xano: Be
constantly curious about our customer segments to ensure the
projects we're working on roll up to customer value.
- Become a Xano builder: Develop first-hand experience building
with Xano to develop more empathy for our customers and make
recommendations on improving the product.
- Drive innovation through user-centric solutions: Convert user
feedback and requests into innovative solutions that align with our
product vision.
- Implement and own new processes: Fully implement and manage any
new processes or changes you propose, demonstrating their value
before wider adoption.
- Collaborate across time zones: Work effectively with team
members across multiple continents, including Europe.
- Develop custom project management tools: Leverage mathematical
concepts to create tailored project management solutions on top of
our existing tools.
- Ideal background: Software Engineering background with a
transition to Project Management.
- Strong Mathematical Foundation: Ability to apply mathematical
concepts to project management and tool development.
- User-Centric Problem Solving: Passion for user experience and
ability to translate feedback into actionable, innovative
solutions.
- Vision and Execution: Can develop a clear vision and create
realistic, feasible plans to achieve it.
- Confidence and Humility: Confident enough to stand by your
ideas, but humble enough to ask questions and seek
understanding.
- Ownership Mentality: Willingness to take full responsibility
for your proposed changes and see them through to successful
implementation.
- Effective Communication: Ability to collaborate across time
zones and cultures, ensuring clear understanding among all team
members.
- Acute attention to detail: A small detail such as a lack of
documentation around a new feature release could create a poor
customer experience.
- Enthusiastic and Team-oriented: Exhibits passion and excitement
over work. Has a can-do attitude. Ability to work collaboratively
with a small team to develop thoughtful solutions.
- Strong Work Ethic: Possesses a willingness to work hard and
sometimes long hours to get the job done. Has a track record of
working hard.
- High Standards: Expect personal performance and team
performance to be nothing short of the best.
- Flexible and Adaptable: Adjusts quickly to changing priorities
and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
- (PLUS) Basic knowledge of the No-Code industry: Having a basic
understanding of the landscape would be preferred.
- (PLUS) Understanding of the Full-stack: We use Angular 16 on
the front-end, PHP on the back-end, and PostgreSQL for our
database. This role is not just about making decisions; it's about
owning a significant portion of our operations, being reliable, and
handling tasks that others may not have the time, bandwidth, or
knowledge to address. You'll be expected to drive change,
demonstrate the value of your ideas through personal
implementation, and continuously improve our processes and tools. We
are a BYOD company and this role will require the use of your own
laptop/computer.Why work at Xano:
- Opportunity for impact: We have an open, direct team culture:
leadership discusses initiatives, issues, and plans openly, and
enjoys being challenged on their thinking.
- We move fast: We are product-led and focused on execution in
the day-to-day. This means no endless meetings on strategy and
execution.
- Ownership: We measure success based on customer happiness. If
you pitch something you think would dramatically improve our users'
lives and the team agrees, the response will almost always be
"let's do it!"Xano is the fastest way to build a scalable backend
for your App using No Code. Each Xano account comes with a scalable
server, a flexible database, and a No Code API builder that can
