6:30a Experience: Minimum 3 years License: California licensed
hospital pharmacist Certifications: BLS (AHA), residency training
and/or BPS certification (such as BCPS, BCIDP, BCCCP, or BSCSP)
Must-Have: - Experience with antibiotic stewardship program (ASP) -
Skilled in sterile compounding - Familiar with pharmacy management
systems (CPOE database) - Experience with medication dispensing
systems Description: The position requires a licensed pharmacist
with over 3 years of experience. Candidates should have residency
training and/or board certification in pharmacy specialties
preferred. The pharmacist will cover both inpatient and emergency
service areas. Responsibilities include participating in antibiotic
stewardship functions, such as vancomycin and aminoglycoside dosing
and drug monitoring. The role involves providing drug information
to medical staff. Candidates should be capable of performing all
aspects of pharmacy operations while adhering to regulatory
requirements. Must be available to assist staff during rare
emergencies. Experience with sterile compounding and pharmacy
workflow systems is essential. This role requires knowledge of
Omnicell or similar automated dispensing systems. A strict
pharmacist-to-technician ratio will be enforced. Business casual or
clean scrubs attire is mandatory, with specific dress code
guidelines. Weekend shifts will be required, with a potential
rotation. No on-call duties are required for this position.
Department-specific orientation will be provided. IV compounding
certification is preferred for applicants. Requirements Required
