Summary: The Assistant Clinical Director at Key Essentials to
Behavior Management is responsible for supporting the Clinical
Director in overseeing the provision of Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA) services to children and adults with disabilities. This role
entails assisting in managing clinical operations, ensuring program
quality and compliance, supervising and training staff, and
collaborating with various stakeholders. The Assistant Clinical
Director will primarily work in a clinic-based setting but may also
be required to provide services in-home, schools, and through
Telehealth. Responsibilities: Support the Clinical Director in
managing the overall clinical operations and ensuring quality
services are provided in line with company protocols, policies, and
ethical guidelines. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to
develop, implement, and evaluate effective ABA programs tailored to
the needs of individual clients. Provide direct supervision,
training, and ongoing support to Behavior Technicians, Program
Coordinators, and other relevant staff members. Assist in
conducting initial assessments, functional behavior assessments,
and ongoing data collection to inform treatment plans and monitor
progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including
parents/guardians, teachers, and other professionals, to ensure
coordination and consistency in service delivery. Conduct regular
meetings and provide guidance to staff to address client-specific
goals, professional development, and performance improvement.
Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team
members, including conducting interviews, reviewing resumes, and
providing training. Stay updated on the latest research, best
practices, and advancements in ABA and related fields to
incorporate into service delivery and staff training. Assist in
maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including progress
notes, treatment plans, incident reports, and other necessary
paperwork. Implement and promote a positive and collaborative work
environment that fosters professional growth, teamwork, and
adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality. Support the
Clinical Director in establishing and maintaining relationships
with insurance providers, community organizations, and other
external stakeholders. Provide crisis intervention and behavior
management support as needed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of
clients and staff. Adhere to all legal and ethical requirements
related to ABA therapy, including HIPAA regulations, state
licensing, and professional certifications. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special
Education, or a related field. BCBA certification is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA services, preferably
with a focus on working with children and adults with disabilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of behavior analysis principles,
assessments, and interventions. Experience in managing and
supervising a team of professionals and providing clinical
leadership. Excellent communication skills with the ability to
effectively collaborate with clients, families, staff, and external
stakeholders. Proficient in conducting functional behavior
assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
Familiarity with relevant professional codes of conduct, ethical
guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work
independently, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities in a
fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using technology for remote
collaboration and telehealth services. Valid driver's license and
access to reliable transportation (if required to provide services
in-home or off-site). Physical Requirements Occasional Requirements
(1-3 hours): Sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, power
grasping, pushing, pulling, reach above shoulder, reach waist
level, reach below waist, reach below knee, ending, twisting,
kneeling, squatting, driving personal vehicle. Rare Requirements
(0-1): Hand and wrist work, keyboarding, fine manipulation,
climbing stairs, lifting/carrying 1-50lbs. The field of Applied
Behavior Analysis may involve direct contact with individuals that
may potentially exhibit aggressive and/or extremely challenging
behaviors (i.e. spitting, hitting, kicking, throwing of objects,
