Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Days, 12-hour day shifts
(12 hours), Every Other Week (EOW) rotation, first to float as
needed, guaranteed 36 hours/week Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay

Roles & Responsibilities Lead on-shift clinical teams by providing
clear, compassionate leadership and direction Serve as charge nurse
when census and staffing require, ensuring safe patient assignments
Mentor and coach staff through bedside teaching, unit orientation,
and performance feedback Conduct patient rounding to identify and
resolve service or safety concerns proactively Support staff with
conflict resolution, staffing decisions, and resource coordination
Monitor unit quality and safety metrics and collaborate on
improvement efforts Act as a clinical resource for complex patient
care and interpersonal issues Qualifications Active RN license
(California) required ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
certifications required Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing
experience Must have served as a charge RN in the most recent
assignment; no first-time travelers Experience in telemetry and
MedSurg nursing with leadership responsibilities Comfort with float
pool assignments and unit orientation duties Demonstrated clinical
mentoring, delegation, and patient care leadership skills Education
Active RN license in California BSN not required Knowledge & Skills
Strong leadership and nursing management skills Telemetry
monitoring and acute care/med-surg expertise Clinical mentorship,
patient rounding, and staff development Experience with Cerner
electronic health record system Ability to manage staffing, triage
workload, and prioritize patient safety Excellent communication,
