Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Orange, CA Agency: Job.com Pay: $2,800 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse provides specialized, high-acuity care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. This RN is responsible for managing complex patient conditions such as trauma, respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, neurosurgical recovery, cardiology cases, and post-operative critical care. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while ensuring safety, family support, and optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-census pediatric environment. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1.5 years recent experience in a high-acuity, high-census PICU Travel Experience: Not required, but prior travel extensions at other facilities preferred Charting System: Cerner (Preferred) Teaching or Level I Trauma Hospital Experience: Preferred Community or LTAC Experience: Not required Certifications (Required unless noted): ACLS BLS PALS
