Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health

experience License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
Must-Have: Must have current cath lab experience. Must be
comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural
processes, airway management, and cardiac drips (such as
Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors). Description: This role is
for Cath Lab Technologists in a fast-paced environment. Cases are
performed with two technologists (one scrubs and one monitors
hemodynamics). Registered Nurses provide conscious sedation. At
times, a fourth person may join, which could be a Registered Nurse
or a technologist, depending on the case. There is a Lead
Technologist responsible for making room assignments. The facility
is a STEMI receiving center and handles cardiac/coronary, vascular,
peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro
intervention cases. There are five suites, with two primarily for
coronary cases, one for peripheral cases, one for vascular and
neuro cases, and one for electrophysiology cases. On average, there
are 10 to 22 cases per day. Weeknight call is required once per
week for inpatient and emergent cases. Weekend call is required
once a month and runs from Friday evening through Monday morning.
The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to
four shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is performed using a
specific electronic health record system. Requirements Required for
