Job Description Patient Services Representative (Contract) Location: Beverly Hills, CA 90211 Pay Rate: $25 – $26 per hour Position Overview Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Services Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for patients in a busy outpatient clinic setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patient relations, both in person and over the phone Greet patients and assist with resolving concerns, escalating issues when necessary Perform patient check-in/check-out, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic Schedule appointments and complete patient registration Process and track referrals and insurance authorizations Manage patient and provider correspondence Explain policies, procedures, and services clearly to patients Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following department guidelines Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructions Preferred Qualifications 2 years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative Experience with CS-Link/Epic systems Knowledge of medical terminology
